I meant only re: distribution medium for IFE, ie using wifi as delivery to WLAN laptop and/or seatback clients, bagging the wider net altogether. Connexion uplink seems limited to 20Mbps planewide; locally hosted content on a g-band can deliver easily twice that. Stack of HDs holding 1000 DivX movies, 300GB of OV/MP3s, etc attached to a WAP and repeaters could be accomplished at extremely low cost.
