When Dr. Pandey brought in the money I'm sure few saw into the future that this would happen. How did Swift take over? He was appointed to the Board of Directors and as such was eligible to be elected CEO, President and Chairman of the Board once Dr. Pandey was removed from those positions by the board. He didn't need to be voted in by the shareholders. I don't think the problem was with bringing in the money from Basu Capital, I think the problem was squarely on Dr. Swift.
Once the allegations of him stealing and misappropriating money were brought on him, Dr. Pandey was out of the company, not much he could do at that point...
You're right, it is sad to see him on the sidelines, he cares more about Xechem and all involved than everyone else around it combined.
