I think it's very interesting...
...that the stock has given up most of it's friday gains and is back to where it was three days ago. I think that suggests the up-move was R2K driven as opposed to the PR. It could be a little profit taking of the gain but if so then friday's gain would be more of a retracing of the three previous big down days and friday would only be a pit-stop in that process.
The chart is very interesting here. It closed a gap-up but then kept going. Then it rebounded for a day and then has fallen to the previous day's low. Interesting.
Looking a little longer term (about 2 weeks) the stock had a nice run up and I would normally say, without any fundamental change the stock should come back down to where it was before the artificial bump (R2K). But in the interim there has been some new fundamental news that could justify a change in valuation.
Of course, I don't believe anything they put in a press release (too much history of misleading and obfuscating statements) unless it is born out by audited financials. However, it's what the market believes that matters and, as evidenced by price movements folowing PRs in recent years vs. previous years, it has been a long time since the market took as gospel what is in a PR from this company.
The timing of the latest press release is curious to say the least. On a day when we know there'll be high volatility and high volume, the company, in my view, tries to capitalize on it by issuing a PR that implies big revenues on the horizon. I don't think the market is buying it either. So I do not attribute the up move on friday to be fundamentally related which suggests it was a pause in the down move punctuated by R2K rebalancing day.
Back to the charts, there seems to be support at the 50 & 200 day EMA at $6.75. There's also a gap up on/about 6/16 which, if it get's filled, suggests the stock will get back to the $6.25 range, which is, not so coincidentally, where it was before R2K happened.
