a comb in your eye, i think that is justified response to prison abuse, dont you.
it amazes me that our media , so kindly toward the prisoner fails to state that it was an 8 inch comb put into the guards eye, which penetrated his brain.
after seeing lieberman on cnn, i found him to be a straight shooter and an intelligent guy who got creamed by the media as unelectable. I would have preferred him to kerry as a republican vote stealer, if I were running that party.
but the iraqi situation is a night mare, and it has rights and wrongs in it. the first wrong is the picture taking.
my own understanding is that they were posed pictures not for private dessemination but for use on interrogation rooms. Even so, they should not have been taken, and certainly should have been destroyed after the army report was made.
rather than showing the generals report as evidence of past wrong doings, why isnt it used to support the idea, that these things were being stopped, if not stopped already?
