There is nothing exclusive between dual core and HyperThreading. So I don't see where it is dead and gone.

While it is possible that Intel is going to implement AMD64 as early as Jonah, I don't think they will have time. Now Conroe and Merom are very likely. I don't think it is in the cards at all for Dothan.
