No. I think the Dothan core is being scattered around to let a thousand lotuses bloom. We will see a dual core server chip based on Dothan in 2005 once the new roadmaps are complete.

Not to mention the iAMD64 version of Dothan. This one won't be the sorry excuse that is rumored to be Nocona.

AMD has to seize the opportunity now before the door closes. Time for 90nm to start producing - there can be major market share shifts later this year.

While I agree with you, remember that Intel added two layers to the P4EE instead of coming out with a large cache version of Prescott, i.e. Potomac.

The problem with Gallatin / P4EE is that it does not have AMD64.
