#4103 RE: jonesieatl #4102

Thanks.

I had to gloat on a profitable long side trade for me. I very rarely break my rule to always bet against Lynn, but I took a flyer and it worked out. Now I'm swing trading to the other side where I feel much more comfortable.

As for missing some upside, I am reminded of the adage an old timer told me during my first few weeks on the street: "pigs get slaughtered."

I have serious doubts Lynn will be able to deliver profits. He's told the same story for years, just with different characters (i.e. wells) and the ending has always been the same - more losses followed up with more stock sales.

On the other hand, I have no doubt that if TC could have unloaded his stock, he did. Here's a former senior exec. with inside knowledge of what's going on at the company and he sold as soon as he could (and at prices way lower than here). To me, that's a big clue.

Also, in my mind, gaps get filled and by people who see a rally ending and want to book their profits or prevent further erosion of value. I don't think I'll get 600% profits, but a nice double would be just fine for me :)
