SharpCharts2 Beta 3 has a color scheme that addresses your needs.

Under the Price Plot Attributes section in the Color Scheme drop down menu select Alternate Colors for C.V.D.

sOb, yep... that's right I link the newsletter because of the overlay ... I haven't used the new charts yet, but I'm sure they'll force them down my throat soon enough.
