Test well boosts Questerre stock

Questerre Energy Corp., a Canadian oil and gas exploration company, rose the most in over a month in Oslo trading after the company said test results from its Vulcan light-oil well in Alberta exceeded expectations.
The shares rose as much as 3.2 kroner, or 15 per cent, to 24.2 kroner, the biggest gain since May 21. The stock rose 6.7 per cent to 22.4 kroner in the previous day trading.
The Questerre-operated Vulcan well was drilled to a depth of about 1,900 metres (6,233 feet) and was stimulated at rates of more than 1,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day, the company said.
