Yes, very strange weather pattern on the east coast, especially mid-Atlantic and northeast today. What caused the storms to develop, there was no hot air rising since the sun was hidden a good bit of the day??? Almost as if the clouds were magically seeded with miracle grow or should I say moisture... there is no frontal system... and it didn't feel humid today???
It is supposed to heat up big time by the end of next week though, so with that said, I'd expect to return to a more usual summer pattern with popcorn thunderstorms. Today felt like autumn didn't it?
