so he's already firmly in this space, or on its perifory.
what if he sold himself on the fact that he already has something in the hopper? sale? mobiqa? substantial contract??
kinda like a college hoops coach being hired to bring along his recruits from his last gig.

would have liked to see less salary and more incentives, especially if he has stuff waiting in the wings.
