AJ, Most of the debt is "entitlement" socialism. I have been encouraging my children and grandchildren to put some form of roots outside the US. I rent here and have a home outside the country. Next president will be 1 term IMO. Until the country
collars the "critical mass" of those taking from others, bankrupcy looms. IMO they will savage any and all citizens who have saved.They might even call it "patriotic" to loot me.

I favor those countries with flat taxes and no gimmickry[our norm in the US]. Best read is the Black Swan to see the failure of politicians, in case one doesn't believe they are failing here.

Leaving for 2 weeks in Brazil next Wed.Last was there in 1989, so I will get a 2 decade perspective.
