FRISCO, Texas, Jun 12, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- KCM HOLDINGS CORP. (KCMH) has completed the acquisition of a 40-year longstanding sports award and memorabilia company located in South Florida. The company generated annual revenues of approximately $500,000. With the acquisition complete, KCMH projects an increase of revenue up to $1.3 million dollars in its first year with the implementation of adding government contracts to this acquired company's revenue model.
This is the first acquisition as part of KCMH's distressed acquisition and incubation strategy. KCMH plans to acquire and incubate at least 10 more distressed companies within the next 5 years through proprietary strategies, partnerships and sourcing. The projected revenue of this strategy is $10 million in annual revenues within 5 years.
As new owners of the company, KCM plans to immediately implement in-house proprietary business development strategies that will include an e-commerce and branding program. The company will compliment KCM's other profitable in-house incubated ventures.
