I`m one of the original Entremed "cheer leaders". I have known of Entremed even before
Entremed went public. Investing in Entremed was risky, I knew that, but it gave me a sense
of doing my small part in a worthy cause, and a chance to make money.
We have had many reasons to be optimistic in the past, yet more often then not, our
optimism was diminished not by science but by Entremed management.
Entremed`s public relations is especially lacking in skillful news management.
P/R can be properly managed without "hype". P/R must be informative and clear.
How many times did we have to guess the true meaning of their announcements?
Do we better understand what is going on after every earnings report?

Im` not saying that N.C. leaving Entremed should be clearly explained, that is company
proprietary information, but his leaving makes me feel that there is some serious
reason for his leaving the company.
I have been working in private and government laboratories for the past 40 years and
I know from my experience that very few people leave a job for a better offer if he is happy with his present job.
People change jobs mainly for two reasons 1-not happy with present job, 2- must leave
beacuse they have to.
Did dr. H. leave because he wanted to? NO!
I`m going to hold to the very last, but becoming more and more aprihensive about our future.
I hope I`m wrong, again...

interesting thought, cycledude
it's easy to forget sometimes that Celgene really does
have practical control of this company...
