I had puts which I sold way late but still with a profit then I made a little on calls but ended the day flat. as you say the futures are down tonight so who knows.

as a TA and fundamentalist I just don't see how we can stay long with this level of inflation( I don't believe the official numbers) bank troubles( I don't think they are over) and the credit card problems will certainly hit the fan sooner than later. I'm with Gleno any moves are are ELCRAPO

This market isn't acting as you would expect given the economic's of the day. I call it Gleno's dilemma, he rants at any upturn of the market and in truth I feel much the same but the markets aren't here to meet our expectations. They have mind of their own and destinations unknown to most of us.

I stopped a long time ago trying to force the market to go where I thought it should, it cost me too much money.
