carter,

Yes, in the Sarasota article the only 2 pieces of info that were given include 1) white male and 2) antisocial personality disorder (commonly known as a sociopath or psychopath) ,that's exactly what they described in the vague wording. Antisocial P.D. could possibly be inferred genetically as there is a significant genetic predisposition

Golly that would be nice if some alleles could be found that would sort out psychopaths from the population. You get into very dangerous ground with any such claim.

I got to be more familiar than I ever wanted to be with an experimental classification scheme of juveniles held in custodial care mostly through no fault of their own. Physical characteristics used ranged from the obvious skin color to less obvious like web toes. What can I say about hair on the palms? :-)

Predictive measures of these kinds can be self-fulfilling.

I am quite confident what you were seeing was the bushwa from profilers who do much better at promoting themselves than helping detect perps. Such profiling was perhaps instrumental in delay in finding the Lousiana serial murderer, who put DNAWitness in the spotlight.

JMO.

Best, Terry

carter,

The simple answer is, no.

While it may be technically possible, the odds against DNAP achieving it in this time frame are fairly astronomical. The obstacles would seem to be insurmountable given the present conditions. Lottery tickets are more promising.
