In addition to playing the long side, I have a reputation of going after quite a few ridiculous scams and calling them for what they are. The few recent critics on this board are simply trying to retaliate because I have criticized management of companies in which they are invested and they can see from my posting history that I like this stock.
Companies stand on their own or they fall on their own. A message board poster has nothing to do with the success of a company or the lack thereof.
Componus/DIAS will stand on it's own merits and there is little anyone who has a grudge against me can do about it. If the new posters were smart they would pay heed to the truth about subpenny scams instead of worrying about the fact that I dare to speak it. Unfortunately, most of them ride dogs to the tomb and cry over spilt milk after the damage has been done.
Gambling on scams simply is not worth the risk. One misstep can wipe you out. It is far better to take the favorable odds a legit company offers and to wait a little longer for the payoff.
Investing isn't one mere battle. You should approach it as though it were a long term quest and you can often find yourself to be pleasantly surprised that you are ahead of the game much faster.
Even if you aren't, the real trick is to find oneself standing with a huge cache of booty after the quest is over. Real operating companies give you a much better chance of this happening.
The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were.-John F. Kennedy
