"The market is a humbling place. It can also be rewarding-- I'm just hoping to someday be handsomely rewarded yet even under the best case scenario--- it does'nt appear that COR will be the stock to do it?"

I agree.. I think some lucky folks may have stumbled upon COR post FDA bull, and nabbed their first batch of COR @ .50..
But for me, I am just hoping to break even so I can use the funds to find glory elsewhere..

Good luck!

JD, I think the big question once we get the RD news (assuming positive news) is whether an RD pharma deal can be finalized prior to Cortex having to do a financing. A small interim financing after good RD news wouldn't be so bad, in comparison to where the pps is now. But instead, a pharma deal for RD might be consummated, say within a month or two of the RD results. Cortex's cash position doesn't drop to the $5 mil range until approx late October (see cash projections below), so that gives August and September to finalize the RD deal.

Aug - 8.0 mil
Sep - 6.8 mil
Oct - 5.6 mil
Nov - 4.5 mil

Cortex has undoubtedly already had some discussions with various pharmas who are interested in RD, pending the trial results, so it's conceivable that a deal might be inked by Aug/Sept.

Alternately, Cortex could do a modest interim financing for say $5 mil (as was done in early 2007), ie - just enough to get by until the RD deal is finalized.
