I understand the sentiment. Sounds like you're a gambler. I personally think they should start with the sure thing. A poor assay (unlikely as it may be) could kill the company in its infancy. They'll get around to the East zone.
the best way to proceed is to start mining as soon as possible. the remaining reserves will be proven as time goes on. earnings should be the goal - unless they just want to package the company and put it up for sale. imo
