marketphile - You got that right. There are more than market forces alone at work right now IMO.

Twice today I hot the ask at .045 and both times it filled at .042.

Obvious as #%# what is going on.

I'm pretty sure you got the MM assessment of the situation right too.

They probably do the same thing with any stock that spikes.

They've seen it before, and know how the pattern will work. They merely "facilitate" the process, lining their pockets with each shake of the tree, so to speak.

The good news, this usually occurs before the next run.
