I'm probably going to regret asking this but.....

It got shuffled back and forth from one SEC office to another. Atlanta and Denver had agents that tried like the dickens to get a bona-fide investigation open. Every time it went up the food-chain, the higher-ups would see to it that it got quashed. I remember one agent saying, "Why don't you just leave them alone?" Uncle Sam has Frankie's back. ;0)
