jazz69, I was aware of that. I was trying to answer a tale that is going around that the Scipion stopped in Haiti to pick up treasure.
Actually the old Spanish Galleons went up the coast of Florida and crossed to Bermuda and took the Easterly trade currents back to Europe.

jazz69- if they headed north to Maine then went west, they would be sitting on the coast of Maine or Canada and waiting to be found. I just think corrections, whether genuine or sarcastic, should at least be accurate. But at least these blogs do provide some entertainment.
