Used a currency calculator. Conversion in PR is correct. Just
should have read yuan instead of yen. $1,145,000 = 8,001,260
Yuan.

Ah, the editor just made a slight typo no reason for a concern, the numbers are correct Yuan to Dollar (not as in PR Yen/Dollar), which is good.
