The key for many people will be battery life. My simple phone can go a few days on standby. I will not be willing to endanger that with a MID that lasts less than a day.

Lots of folks just want wireless internet. I don't plan on getting the phone piece.

If Apple had a new iPod Touch with the rumored specs, I'd do a preorder for WWDC. My son likes his iPod Touch. I miss not having one.
