That would be certainly ease investor anxiety but consider this possibility
1) Rich knows that the report is false, so he is not concerned with any type of investigation.
2) The report is not going to be picked up by any reputable news organization so it is not going to affect customer relations, sales, marketing
3) The price of SEVU's stock, while a major concern for investors, is not a predominant issue with Rich as he is not using the stock to fund operations.
4) Rich loves product development, marketing. This is an investor relations issue. In light of point 1-3, he is aware of investor concerns, but does not want to become preoccupied with answering A@P's every allegation to where it will take time away from growing the company.
I don't know if the above is true or not, but my point is that Rich's perspective and priorities as CEO are different than ours as investors and I am willing to be patient. Remember when the Miluky issue hit, there was all type of talk about a SEC investigation, etc. Now it is basically a dead issue.
