It has long been one of the most fundamental axioms of basic economic: SUCCESS INVITES COMPETITION
Regardless of the industry, any company that finds a way to earn outsized profits will sooner or later attract competition.While no company is immune, some are less susceptible to the threat of competition than others. Those with well developed "economic moats" in place are much more likely to withstand an attack from competitors.imo
