janice...actually, it greatly depends upon the a person's personality and comfort level. Some people are more comfortable having no debt. Other's thrive on the challenge of manipulating and balancing wealth and debt. I perfer no debt. I guess I could spend a lot of time managing debt to my financial betterment, but I prefer not to.

Actually, Donald Trump is hugely in debt, and he seems to live a fairly nice lifestyle.
