interesting on JLTV:

FRPT is testing everyday 24/7 17 minutes ago Lighter armor. With the new Kevlar disk EFP armor the monocoque hull may be made lighter and lighter. Always remember that Moody said the Cheetah was what our JLTV would be based on not that it was the Cheetah. The race in JLTV is weight. The cost at under 425K is workable. If FPI can make a monocoque hull 25% lighter our JLTV entry will blow everybody else away. That's the game here: weight and protectionl; nothing more.
