I once took a bad spill on the ice and wrecked my elbow as I used it to break the fall. When I got on the bus and saw the bad shape of the elbow, a middle aged woman handed me some fresh sterile bandages she just happened to have in her purse.
I have many other instances where the kindness of strangers just seemed planned ahead of time by somebody watching our destinies unfold.
