I like (or enjoy) your post. I also understand bobwill9's concern. Pup is a trusted poster here. A follow-up post from him would be very much welcomed by the board, I think.
The waiter says how delicious the steak will be but each time the cook sends him out with jerky or salt pork. Since the cook is consistantly wrong or is misleading the waiter, asking how the waiter knows it's steak is the only rational thing to do before ordering.
