At one time it was discussed here that Micro Soft may, and a big may, see the value in teaming with Spooz to generate the system that is being discussed. I think it was also discussed that Spooz does have a link to MS as one of Spooz's employees, I believe, has ties there. I can't remember the details.

No, I think you are confusing the issue. ETrade has nothing! Why don't you just try to ETrade excel platform and come back to us with some info.

It's one thing to have a piece of software (like Spooz) and another thing to throw up an excel "splash screen" and call it a trading platform (ETrade's claim).

You my friend are the one trying to confuse the issue and yet you have not tried both platforms to even make an educated decision.

Spooz, has the goods. And they will "get on with it." It's all about timing and just unfortunate for you, I guess, that Spooz doesn't seem to have the same time frame that can make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

I beg your pardon? I'm not confusing anything. I did not post an ancient article using the present tense verb "is". It was you who presented an article to this board dated 2006 as though it were happening at present. And I quote: "It looks like Microsoft IS (emphasis mine) trying to combine Excel with high end computing for trading purposes." The fact is that the time when the news in that article was fresh and new and potentially revolutionary was TWO years ago.

I'm not confused and I'm quite careful to NOT confuse by my selection of words. I thought that the way you presented this ancient article might confuse people and lest they be confused, I chose to try to clarify the confusion generated by by the manner in which it was presented. Now, I'm entitled to my opinion that presenting something TWO years old as though it is happening today is confusing, aren't I?, And I'm also entitled to try to point this set of facts out to others. And which is confusing: presinting things that happened TWO years ago as though they are happening today or pointing this out to people so they aren't confused?

Perhaps you encountered this ancient article and, yourself confused, inadvertantly and mistakenly posted about it as though it were happening today when it is not. Perhaps you were not being deliberately confusing and perhaps you mistakenly confused something well past being in the present with an industry initiative happening right now. I'll grant you the benefit of being lily white in terms of intent, but lets be clear: I'm not confused. I'm just pointing out that the article is ancient history so others AREN'T themselves confused by your choice of words, thank you very much.
