I think its some of both on the storm #'s & reporing. Seems like there is more storms & they sure are doing a lot better reporting on them. If you report on & keep up with these storms in your viewing area the people are going to watch your station, so up go your ratings. I find it interesting watching the progress of the storms that they put on TV. Once you learn how to read it you can actuall see circulation of the cells that can turn into a tornado.
