To offer an answer to your question: yes, many here know the difference between A/S, O/S, and Float. Some probably don't.

For future reference, when you make a direct reply to someone's post and use the word "you" in it, the implication is that you're directing a question to that person. To avoid this situation, just post the message to yourself or to the board in general.
