PF you are so correct, Woodson County, KS is a very prolific area for CMB and to add on top of that........ the type of drill that HMGP just performed on the Collins Hemi-1 which is in Woodson IMO will be a new standard in todays Woodson county drilling activity........DEEP BABY!!!
And secondly, yes it does take time to get those reserves (CMB) proven up and account for so just maybe this is what Hemi has been doing when some still complaining that HMGP is not moving fast enough :o))
IMO it is all part of the HMGP plan and business strategy and again IMO time is on HMGP side not only in this current Oil/NG environment but also due to the multiple strategic lease locations that HMGP controls.
Reminds me of that board game (the name slips my mind, but I'm sure many know the game) where you gather/ acquire territories, strengthen your flanks and build up your resources and............... let time work in your favor while your competitors keep on battling it out (Chesapeake, XTO & Devon in this O&G play).
