Central Bank denies intention to abolish the category of currency 25 thousand dinars

Iraqi Central Bank denied yesterday, Thursday, news and rumors circulated about the existence of faith when authorities cancelled the local currency from the category of 25 thousand dinars.
An official source in the bank that published some of the media on its website on an intention to abolish the category of 25 thousand dinars in order to strengthen the local currency is incorrect and lacks credibility.
He stressed that the recovery value of the dinar against the dollar over the last two years and that the process carried out by the Central Bank came to the proven success of the monetary policy pursued by the bank to raise the value of local currency.
He explained that such news and promotion aimed at influencing the domestic economic situation and trying to confusion.
