ok if avg per ton is .16 my number comes close to .10 cents per share.. with gold at 800. for 10 acres.... and someone said we had over 10 acres..

As Drake Gold stated in the blog many times, those samples were taken unconcentrated, without the hard rock in it and they were looking for trace gold indicators to locate the target zone. When they located the target zone, they found the fantastic numbers they always thought they had. Thats the area where the permitting process will start. If you call the company, they will tell you the same thing they said in the blog.

Now convert the OTHER PPM report into OZ and see what you get. Don't be a hypocrite and just do the one report, do the second report as well. Both reports sampled on that day were done in PPM ;-) if the first report valued the stock at .10 per share, lets see what the target area chosen will value it at.

#20522 RE: back2basics #20487

Back2, from their 3/11/08 PR;

(With the help of both ALS Chemex in Sparks, Nevada and Southern Spectrographic Laboratory in Irving, Texas, Drake was able to process 42 samples in total. The majority (35 out of 42) of the samples all showed gold values from unconcentrated grab samples with a maximum placer sample of .47 ounces per ton and a hard rock sample running as high as 4.23 ounces per ton.)

They state that only 1 placer sample of the 42 samples came back at .47 oz per ton and 1 hard rock sample of the 42 came back at 4.23 oz per ton. Now since they say 35 of the 42 samples showed gold values that means 7 had no gold and are not listed anywhere. So you are left with 35 samples, minus 1 good placer and 1 good hard rock which leaves you with 33 samples that they withheld for over a month and then reported in PPM only. Here is that list of 33 samples (below) minus the 1 good placer (.47 oz per ton) and 1 good hard rock (4.23 oz per ton) .

You said; (Here's how I converted the PPM to oz / ton. I assumed the high PPM value of .013 was the high oz / ton value of .47. I then averaged the 30 lowest values. I came up with a .0045 PPM avg.)
I think you may have assumed wrong about the .013 as being the placer .47 oz per ton sample since that one and the 1 high hard rock assay is not in that list as far as I can tell, only those 33 that they withheld for obvious reasons IMO. Back2, please read post # 20459 and post # 20462 as how to convert PPM to oz per ton.

3rd Assay Results Part 1:
ALS Chemex
Samples Taken 2/28/08

Samples were taken by Thomas Conar, Clayton Smith and Jan Yarrington. These collections represent purely soil samples. Quoted from the March 11, 2008 announcement, “Drake's management mining plan called for independent analyses from two different labs to ensure accuracy of sampling. As indicated on the Company's blog and in past press updates, Drake management identified its initial target area in Georgia and did depth sampling, digging seven trenches and sampling from each zone to determine the gold resources.”
