What we have here, Me dear, is one of those that spent years trying, from one wee clue or another, to find out the true ID of KIDD.. Chasing one phantom after another.. seizing on any small clue or "slip" they could find.
As detectives, they should have stuck to the day jobs. They are beng led by the nose by their own prejudices and pre-conceptions.
Why could it possibly matter whether you are from NM or NS?? LOL!!
Anyone as clever as Kidd, or Buckwheat, or STK would leave them plenty of false clues to chase. CHEESECONSIN among them.
Whatever their reasons, none of the mentioned want(ed) their IDs known. Buckwheat did become known, because he was the subject in a court case.
The other two..?? I don't know who they are.. Nor am I going to try to find out. If they want me to know, they will tell me. I have no reason to probe except for idle curosity. Evidently, though, there are those that want to know really badly..for whatever reason. I suspect, but do not know why they want to know so badly.
That is what is going on.
