#476 RE: Bigshow01 #475

GORO goes unknown because it is doing it without the help of bankers and institutions that force so many other companies to produce shares rather than gold. The Reids are doing it their way. They didn't do a bankable feasibility study like so many companies feel they must do, so they didn't need a bank. They did their IPO and subsequent financing directly with some of big gold funds, so they didn't need the help of institutions that get retail investors that almost always require warrants along with the private placement shares, which in turn leads to later dilution. Instead the Reids have a good enough property and are respectable enough managers that they didn't need to do the typical, time consuming, and dilutive dealings with the bankers and institutions. This is great for shareholders, but they go unknown because they don't have the bankers and institutions to promote them as is typically done as part of the deal. I much prefer the way the Reids are doing it. Less dilution plus mines getting quicker into production equals maximum share holder value. Cannacord et al. can go ahead and keep forcing companies to produce dilutive shares and delay mines with time consuming and costly studies, but I like the way the Reids are doing it. The Reids can in turn do their own promotion without institutional help, and they are. The results are evident. Here we sit today 10 cents away from a new all-time high while most other companies are WELL off their recent highs.
