The point is the company may well have already raised their money some time ago, and it is the financier(s) selling to recoup their expenses (and profit most likely), and increase of a/s may be needed for Spooz to fulfill their obligation to the financier. It has nothing to do whether Spooz needs money or not. I don't think you really understand what is happening here.
