The Reverse Merger has nothing to do with a split nor the pps (except to usually increase it on the news). So there is nothing to do but calculate the percent gain/loss at the open or at the time the play was called as per the rules.
A split will automatically multiply or divide the price by the ratio the day it is scheduled to occur right at the open. So again, there is nothing to do but calculate the percent gain/loss at the open or at the time the play was called as per the rules.
