Ic, I haven't. I'm just going by what I have read. If there wasn't a legend (usually on the back of the paper cert), then the broker would have no way to know that the certificate is restricted, right?
But, maybe you are correct and there are electronic controls in place.
OTOH, it would seem strange to send out a paper divy to >200 shareholders of record, and not a single one of them knows what, or even IF, there is a restriction, especially when one is such an esteemed contributor as publiceye, who knows an incredible amount of information on this company. But, he doesn't seem to know what the restriction is on a stock he has in his hands.
