Farooq, my intraday tools (charts) are mostly 5 AND 15-minute, which I switch back and forth. Sometimes the 1-minute for just a glance.

The 5-minute by itself does seem to invite whips, and that's why I like to confirm what the 15-minute indicators are suggesting when I am about to enter a trade.

My new hardware and software set-up is going to employ 2 PC's, running 4 monitors, so (among other things) I can keep both the 5 and 15-minute charts in front of me all the time when I am trying to be a little more surgical when things are really moving.
