You mentioned Odessa WA and DeBeers. I was trying to get info on the Odessa facility this past weekend but my quick search so far has come up fairly empty. Realizing that nothing comes close to Algae (both on a per acre yield and non-food compete level) the concept of a small US Ag town trying to shift 100+ yr old gears and get into the energy supply game is an interesting & courageous human interest story all it's own but as an investor I'd like to know how the bioreactor GSPI supplied is actually performing.

Seems puzzling that Shell would do R&D in Hawaii of all places?? I lived on Oahu for 6 years and grew avacados the size of grapefruits with absolutely no gardening tlc on my part whatsoever. It makes more sense to do it in a State like Montana where successful year-round growing is no 'accident'...and you really find out what the plant is capable of.
My wife just chimed in and said "who would pick an office in Montana over an office in Hawaii"! She's got a point!
