Hacketts, Alteri's, Brewing Company merging firms

The transaction, which is valued at about $11.7 million, creates an entity with assets of approximately $31.5 million.

Under the deal, North Country has become a new operating division of Seaway Valley. President and CEO Christopher M. Swartz will continue to run the company, but will also become Chief Operating Officer at Seaway Valley.

Thomas W. Scozzafava will retain his position as chief executive officer of Seaway Valley.

Included in the deal are: Sackets Harbor Brewing Company, Sackets Harbor Brew Pub, Goodfello’s Brick Oven Pizza and Wine Bar, Sackets Cantina, all of Sackets Harbor, Alteri’s Bakery, of Watertown, and five franchise locations of Jreck Subs.
