Paul, one could argue that decent binsplits are implicit in an "on track" transition with "strong yields"... unless you're Intel of course, in which case, "better than expected yields" means "horrible binsplits with terrible thermal and power characteristics". ;)
Not that I think it's wise to read too much into these kind of comments, but good thermal and power characteristics sort of imply good binsplits, don't they? And I don't recall AMD ever commenting directly on binsplits in public statements.
