1flaguy, it depends...

I think it’s not a very big jump at all. I guess it depends on one's experience within the penny stock market to how one would view it as such.

If I had to guess, when ECCI had gone through some money crunches because of Hurricane Katrina smashing their home base/office location, the only opportunity they had to raise capital was to sell shares back then. Any and every stock on the market will more then likely utilize shares to do such at some point in time which is the reason why any stock exists to trade; that's until money comes in to where such is not needed to do so anymore.

Personally, I think they increased the AS to acquire some property there in the Barnett Shale formation in Ft. Worth, TX.

They went up there to do some work for some major market companies, but I think they couldn't help but to see the potential that exist for ECCI by simply acquiring a few acres.

Remember my earlier post where I mentioned that a friend of mine had a friend in that area that spent $1 million to buy 9 acres and turned right around to sell it for $11 million in less than a year.

I am sure that ECCI saw plenty of opportunity for growth once they got up there. My friend told me that many companies are up there making billions of dollars. Right now, I'll be willing to bet that ECCI have been talking with the right people within the right companies to guide them in the right direction. They are helping each other I am sure.

Just so you know, ECCI was “highly” recommended by the State Government to go there to help these major market companies resolve their problem to get gas out of the ground. Their support was a huge success as from what was also recently PR-ed. To me, that means that they had an "A" on somebody's report card.
