I've got a pm-colloquy going with Matt. Apparently I owe a lot of this to my ignorance of just what's been going on with the board. Matt tells me that he's moved this board to an area where anyone who shows up can register for free and get a basic membership privilege, so my 'sponsoring' her had nothing to do with it, it was giving her the link.
I'm still an asshole and I still owe you all more apologies than I can ever make, including Matt.
