#890 RE: Sarmad #869

Hi S, I made a change to the PIC page at my site hoping to help clarify why I feel the PIC method might have validity. I carried in a typical graph of CSCO showing several years of history and when it showed up on my PIC list as a good candidate.

As you can see, this method helps to avoid "calamity stocks" or maybe better stated calamity markets.

Also, two new PIC stocks have shown up in the last two weeks. Markel (MKL) and Vintage Petroleum (VPI). Both have been on the Value Line "Highest Growth Stocks" list and also just recently were down graded to Timeliness #5, lowest for the next 12 months.

Now, I've done NO Further Analysis as to whether these stocks have any future at all. The purpose of the PIC list is to bring growth stocks which are currently out-of-favor to the reader's attention so that THEY can study them! They can be screened for their potential with AIM as each sees fit.

Best regards, Tom
