It would seem to be a horrible business decision, imo, to buy a company to watch it go down the drain. It appears to me that since Gabe is allowed to talk to shareholders at this point, that the very troubling suspicious quiet time is over, and it was resolved.
It's is somewhat mysterious that nothing concrete has been announced, but perhaps, in this case anyway, things don't happen as quickly as we, the shareholders, would want them to.
When I first bought in I had faith in Reality Racing, the show.
I don't remember ever publicly supporting an individual owner or part of management. I didn't know them, and after months of fine due diligence, Flatsixer brought to my attention, and all who read this Board, that there was something, possibly, untoward going on behind the scenes.
Now that RRGI has been purchased by someone who has a stellar record of integrity and honesty, who was backed by the "mysterious investment group" (as Jerry likes to quote), I give Gabe and his investors the benefit of the doubt to turn what has been a futile attempt at a television show, into something we can be proud of.
It was always Gabe's position, imo, that Reality Racing was going to be more than a one pony company. He proved that with contacting Kenny Wallace, and I am sure others, to develop various "reality" shows and new ideas.
I put my money where my mouth is. I purchased additional shares before and after the announcement of Sandler Communications, and I may buy more, depending on how low the stock price goes and my cash position.
Think the first positive step Sandler Communications can do, and probably will do, is get the web site up and running. I understand Gabe and his people may have to start from scratch to re-piece what was lost, and the cost will be extensive. It will also take time.
You know, the past few months on this Board has been constructive. There are no shills or pumpers, and there has been no real "bashing" The negative posts have been constructive criticism, or frayed nerves, or, most likely, frustration.
Gabe tells me he does not read this Board, and I would suggest anyone, Doctor/Doctor and others, to contact him via his email address if you have any constructive suggestions.
Yes he has another business to run, and yes he has a hobby to play DJ, but his main focus is to make Reality Racing a winner.
And, as Flat would say.... just my IMO's
