Tom - first, it is my understanding that the burn rate is around $275 k/month, not one million. Ray's salary would be astronomical if he were to take $80 k per share as you stated. I'm sure you meant $80 k/year. Lucent was doing transmission over copper line tests, not working with a prototype, per se, and certainly not with the sophisticated prototype that is currently in development. And Lucent's tests showed that NVC had a product/service with enough success that would be worth developing further. I know Ray enough to know that if the test had showed we had trash, he would have cut his losses and moved on.

And regarding what Ray does, you don't even have a clue. I have not one iota of a problem with him or any other staff member of this organization having a salary. And please note that he has not taken the full salary he was alloted in the past. His real interest is the well-being and profitability of the company whether you believe this to be so or not. After all, he too has a bunch of shares he'd much rather were valued at $10 or $20 or $50 a share than the current SP.

And regarding financing, there are several ways this may come about - including the release of a movie in June and the reimbursement of the funds advanced to make the movie which was $2.5 million - enough to cover expenses for another 9 months at the current burn rate - even if there is no other infusion of cash - and that's not allowing that there's every possibility that the movie could be successful and actually make NVC some money.

And just a tip - before you post that of which you know not in the future, you might want to check a fact or two. It's common knowledge that the movie is coming out and expected to make money. That information is very easy to find. The burn rate has been posted numerous times recently and is also readily available information. Exagerations do none of us any good.

Though my comments may seem harsh, I truly hope you have a blessed and lovely Sunday, and that you make back every dime you have spent for NVEI shares and then, above that, that you realize every one of the monetary dreams you had when you bought your shares in the first place.

Hi Tom, I believe someone already corrected the error about the burn rate. Have no idea where you got a mil, but that's wrong. It's about $275k/month. The way I understand it, the carrier trials should be finished I think by the end of summer. I think Elder mentioned that the carrier trials might take about a month. The Lucent test didn't take 4 months. It may have been delayed about that long, but I believe the actual test didn't even take a week IMO.
